چکیده
• Spinal epidural arteriovenous fistulas (SEDAVFs) are extremely rare. the pathological process of SEDAVFs still remains unclear. Chronic vertebral compression fractures (VCFs) might have caused in our cases. Obliterate fistulae via trans-arterial route with Onyx embolization is most appropriate treatment option. rare and Nevertheless, neurofibromatosis, surgery, as well trauma been implicated causes. long standing chronic a cause has not reported literature. Our cases comprised male female ages 67 62 year respectively. They presented weakness bilateral lower extremities back pain. Their symptoms deteriorated into mild recto-bladder dysfunction hypoesthesia limbs. both had history road traffic accidents (RTAs) prior to their symptomatology. In cases, Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) revealed VCFs above digital subtraction angiography (DSA) was used confirm We utilized agent obliterate debilitating symptomatology resolved after because they were by acute SEDAVF. Two-years follow-ups no recurrence fistulae. The initial resulted perforation dorsal somatic branches radicular artery leading occurrences

Spinal intraosseous arteriovenous fistula in the fractured vertebral body.
A 68-year-old woman presenting with progressive paraparesis was diagnosed with an AVF involving a previously fractured L1 vertebral body on which feeders from multiple segmental arteries converged. The most distinctive feature in our patient was that the fistula was located in the vertebral body. Transarterial embolization of the segmental arteries with coils and glue resulted in total oblitera...

Background: Spinal dural AVF is the most common type of spinal vascular malformation. However, presenting symptoms differ according to site of spinal involvement. This study described a case of arteriovenous malformation with paraparesis and incontinence. Case Presentation: Diagnosis of patient was confirmed by clinical and imaging examination using magnetic resonance image and ruling out ot...
متن کاملAn angiographic complication of vertebral arteriovenous fistula.
Complications of percutaneous angiography have been recorded and reported periodically throughout the literature (Abbott, Gay, and Goodall, 1952; Perese, Kite, Bedell, and Campbell, 1954). These complications range from something so minor as a transient Babinski response to immediate or eventual fatality. The following case is described so that an opportunity is afforded to visualize a vertebra...

متن کاملEndovascular Treatment of Spinal Dural and Epidural Arteriovenous Fistula as Complication of Lumbar Surgery
damage and fistula formation are known to occur (13). Formation of spinal arteriovenous fistulas (AVF) also has been reported as a delayed complication developing after lumbar surgery (3). We experienced spinal dural/epidural AVFs that developed at the site of previous lumbar surgery and successfully treated it with n-butyl cyanoacrylate (Histoacryl, B.Braun, Melsungen, Germany). To our knowled...
